Press Release Toshiba Lighting Technologies spins out commercial display division Integrated Display Technology AKA Toshiba Display Systems is now a new and separate company from Harison Toshiba Lighting USA, and the exclusive Sales and Service provider for all Toshiba™ commercial displays. Valencia, CA June 1, 2008: Toshiba Lighting Technologies has announced that it is moving all of the commercial display products into a separate company that is spinning out of Harison Toshiba™ Lighting USA the automotive lighting division. The products IDT / Toshiba Display Systems (TDS) will be responsible for are: · LCD flat panels. The new company ill be located in Simi Valley, CA. Heading up the new division as President is Brett Armstrong, formerly the National Sales Manager for the division, David Schultz formerly of NEC has taken over as Executive VP of Sales, and Jeff Meyers has signed on as the Executive VP of Business Development. Operations will continue as normal concerning all ongoing customers, and there will be no delay product shipment or availability. Letters are going out now announcing the change to IDT / TDS’ entire current customer list. Toshiba™ Japan believes this is a great move forward to promote the Toshiba™ commercial grade display products. IDT / TDS is gearing up to be aggressive in service, pricing and product offerings. We expect a bright future for our products and team.
